creativity and music, the island of Montserrat will host the 5th
Annual Calabash Festival, July 19 -25, 2010. The week-long event offers
a wide selection of festivities that highlights the hidden talents of
local artisans and designers. Key events on this year's program include a
gospel concert.

the public to be vigilant when bathing in the sea at this time of year,
as it is the season when the population of jellyfish increases, thus
increasing the likelihood of persons being stung.

Montserrat National Trust passed away in the United States on Monday.
Mr. Edward ‘Ted’ Laroussini of Old Town died in Louisiana, USA at the
age of 94.

(MTB, Brades, Montserrat – August 12th, 2010): The
birdlife of Montserrat, as well as its wide array of other fauna and
flora, will be showcased at this year’s British Birdwatching Fair. The
Fair is the world’s first and largest international birdwatching event,
which saw 23,000 visitors in 2009, and will be held at the Egleton
Nature Reserve in Rutland from August 20-22, 2010.
